When you choose to invite us to work with you we want you to feel confident that you have made the right decision and that your plant machinery won’t let you down. For that reason, we constantly monitor our service levels carefully and have designed a 2 stage reliability and reassurance guarantee for you to enjoy when hiring with us! (see full details below)


Mobile SupportWe have a high level of reliability and this high level is a result of scheduled maintenance and a rigorous pre delivery inspection which is carried out on all plant before each and every hire.

On the rare occasions when things go wrong, we understand that this has an impact for you, and we will work very hard to ensure you are back up and running again as quickly as possible. In the last 12 month rolling period to Sept 17 (during our standard working hours) we have had an average response time, from an inbound breakdown call to having an engineer on site, of just 61 minutes and typically, once on site, have rectified the issue in less than an average 52 minutes. In many cases we have been much faster than that!

So when you make your decision to hire from Kelsey Plant Hire you can be confident that there is a skilled team working to maximise the running efficiency of your hired equipment and a dedicated support crew ready to aid you in the highly unlikely event of mechanical malfunction.

Unlike any of our competitors we are prepared to offer a reassuring 2 stage guarantee on any equipment you hire from us. We will give you up to £100 cash if we exceed maximum response times as detailed in the terms below:


guarantee_content1. If any piece of machinery we hire to you suffers an *unexpected mechanical failure at site we will ensure that a skilled engineer is with you in less than 2 **standard working hours from your initial report of the breakdown***.
– If they aren’t with you within those 2 hours**… we’ll give you £50

2. We’ll guarantee to repair the affected machine or replace it at your site in less than 5 **standard working hours from your initial report.
– If it isn’t fixed or replaced within those 5 hours**…we’ll give you £50 for that, too.

Conditions: Guarantee only applies to hires within a 40 mile radius of our Horsham depot.

*What is NOT covered by the cash back guarantee: Site damage, fuel contamination, operator error, and other plant hire companies. But you will still receive the same excellent level of response.
**Standard working hours are: 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday only.
***A ‘report of breakdown’ becomes valid when a telephone report is made to our hiredesk, and a ‘breakdown reference number’ is allocated to you.
